Hi, I’m Anita and for me there is nothing as thrilling as performing a ceremony!

I have come to this work as a registered Civil Celebrant with an acting background and having trained others using performance and exploring creativity as a path to their personal growth.

I am also a qualified Counsellor with my practice in the Inner West of Sydney.

Born in New Zealand I spent many years travelling the world and continue to be endlessly fascinated by the world's diversity of cultures and passionately believe in the right to express those beliefs.

To capture an audience of wedding guests and keep them engaged, crying, laughing, imagining, enraptured and truly involved is my mission.

Some of my favourites have been outdoor, in nature, either on the harbour’s edge, a garden setting, a sandstone courtyard, a beach or even better, a two day Love fest in the bush surrounded by trees and laughing kookaburras.

I equally enjoy the intimate indoor event, a chapel, a fine restaurant or a classic ballroom.

I bring to the fulfilling role of celebrant, my expertise and experience, as an actor, a communication trainer, event organiser and counsellor.

I am artistic, dramatic, organised, flexible, open minded, fun and I care.

I live in Newtown and my community is alive, arty, chic, gay, urban, bohemian and very cool and I love them all.

It is now finally legal to marry the person you love regardless of gender and I have had the great pleasure to marry many of my LGBTI friends.
